From behind the screen to video, in-person, and everywhere in between, we know that each day educators are working hard to give their students an important opportunity to gain the scientific literacy needed to better understand the world around them. For some, this leads to advanced coursework and interest in STEM-based careers while for others it becomes an enriching learning experience they’ll never forget.

Promoting Student Support & Mentorship
The Student Champion of the Year provides exceptional support and mentorship to ensure student success throughout a course or program.
Expanding Access & Equity
The Inclusive Educator of the Year is an administrator or instructor who works to expand educational access and increase equity for under-served communities and/or nontraditional student populations.
Implementing Innovative Blended Learning Methods
The Blended Learning Innovator of the Year successfully integrates technology with in-person learning to elevate their course.
Fostering Student-Centered Learning
The Student-Centered Educator of the Year prioritizes and enhances active learning opportunities and encourages student engagement in a variety of different ways.

Winners have the opportunity to continue making a difference!
We’re donating $1,000 to a 501c3 or providing a $1,000 grant to be used to present at conferences, further research, or improve courses.
